Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

What this verse means

Waiting on the Lord is paired with courage — the waiting itself strengthens the heart.

Lord, waiting is hard. Give me courage while I wait, and strength in the meantime.
