Get Random Bible Verse is a free devotional tool that serves hand-picked Bible passages with short reflections. It is provided as a reading and sharing tool. It is not pastoral counseling, theological advice, or a substitute for reading Scripture in full or for the guidance of your own faith community.
2. Verse texts and image cards
The Bible texts on this site — the King James Version, the World English Bible, and the American Standard Version — are distributed by this site as public-domain texts. Generated cards that contain those translations may be downloaded and shared. Local law and the rights in your own added context still apply. The site's layout, notes and prayers are separate from the Bible text and may not be republished wholesale without permission.
Where enabled, NIV is obtained through API.Bible and ESV through Crossway via a serverless proxy. Responses can be cached at the CDN and in browser sessionStorage. They remain copyrighted works, and their publisher/API terms control reuse. The current image-card tools use the public-domain translation set; do not infer a general license to redistribute NIV or ESV from their availability in a reader.

You agree not to misuse the site: no automated scraping that degrades the service, no misrepresenting the site as an official church or denominational publication, and no use of the generated materials to promote hate or harassment.

We cross-check verse texts against reputable public-domain sources, but we do not warrant that every text, note, or reference is error-free. The notes and prayers are devotional reflections, not authoritative commentary. If you rely on a verse for teaching or publication, verify it against a trusted Bible text first — and please tell us if you find an error.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
