How the daily verse works
Every day at midnight, the calendar date itself selects one passage from our curated pool of 158 verses — the same selection for every reader worldwide. There is no account, no streak counter, and nothing to keep up with: come back tomorrow and a new verse will be here. Today's pick also greets you on the home page the moment it loads.
One honest note: this site is fully static, so the verse above is baked in at build time and the site is rebuilt regularly. If your midnight just rolled over, a small script on this page recomputes today's pick in your browser and updates the card automatically — no refresh needed.
The last seven days
- Fri, Aug 28 — John 3:17
- Thu, Aug 27 — Psalms 23:1
- Wed, Aug 26 — John 15:13
- Tue, Aug 25 — Psalms 94:19
- Mon, Aug 24 — 1 Corinthians 13:4
- Sun, Aug 23 — Proverbs 4:23
- Sat, Aug 22 — Galatians 6:9
We deliberately keep only a rolling week here instead of an archive of thin pages; every past verse remains permanently available on its own page.

A daily email — the verse, its note, and its prayer, nothing else — is coming soon. Until then, the fastest habit is a bookmark: open this page with your first coffee, or let the home page greet you with today's verse directly.
