Ephesians 2 places salvation outside boasting; the verses that follow move toward created-for-good-works purpose. Titus 2 likewise refuses a split between pardon and formation. The order matters: change is response, not admission price.
Romans 5:8 locates divine love “while we were yet sinners.” It does not require a cleaned-up version of the person before the invitation begins.
