Psalms 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
King James Version
World English Bible (WEB)
Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.
American Standard Version (ASV)
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.
What this verse means
Scripture lights the next step, not necessarily the whole map — and that is enough.
A short prayer
Lord, light my next step through Your word. I do not need the whole map, only Your lamp.
